Reverend Frederick Young, the youngest of 10 was born on April 10 to the late Reverend E. L. and Elizabeth Young of Greenville, Mississippi. At an early age, Reverend Young attended church with his parents. He started playing the piano at the age of fifteen and also sang in the choir. Pastor Young graduated from Greenville High School of Greenville, Mississippi. After high school, he attended the Arkansas College School of Technology for one year.

Reverend Young relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and explored the trucking industry in which he’s held several management positions. In 1993 he joined the Beulah Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Jerry D. Black.

As the years passed, Reverend Young became fully aware of Gods’ plan and purpose for his life. Meeting with his pastor Reverend Jerry D. Black and with his brother Reverend, Doctor Jerry Young, the President of the National Baptist Convention U.S.A., Incorporated,  Reverend Young expressed that God had called him into ministry. He accepted his calling in November of  2015 and became a willing vessel to proclaim and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reverend Young's accomplishments include being a Faithful Servant to The E.D. Thomas Male Chorus for 23 years, The J.L. Davis Award and The W.J. Ham Award recognizing his commitment to the choir for 2012.
